Step 2: Match the Ceiling Type to the Mounting Kit

- Concrete slabs (requires pre-drilling and expansion bolts)

Step 4: Adjust the Suspension Length Before Lifting

Here's the formula:
- Measure from ceiling to the desired bottom of the fixture. Standard dining height is 30–34 inches above the table.

- Add 6 inches for the canopy and wiring slack.
- That's your cable length.
For a Beat pendant light with a 6-inch body, hung 32 inches above a table from an 8-foot ceiling: ceiling drop is 64 inches. Minus 6 inches body, plus 6 inches slack = 64 inches of cable. Most installers guess. Don't.

Step 5: Wire It in the Right Sequence
